Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and what control you have over it.
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by the Africa Green Transition PPP Fund (AGTPF), a public-private partnership fund domiciled in Luxembourg as a reserved alternative investment fund (RAIF) in the legal form of a SICAV. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean AGTPF.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. ONE Fund Management S.A. acts as the alternative investment fund manager of the Fund and may process personal data in that capacity.

2. Scope
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website. It does not cover data you provide to us outside the website, such as information exchanged during a formal subscription or onboarding process, which is governed by the Fund's offering documents and the AIFM's own privacy notices.
The website also links to material held by third parties, including documents hosted on Google Drive and the websites of our partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we recommend reading their own privacy notices.
3. What we collect
Enquiries submitted through the contact form
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, organisation where you provide one, the content of your message and the date and time of submission.
Project proposals
When you submit a project through the "Submit a Project" form we collect the contact name and contact email address you provide, together with the project information you enter, such as project title, description, country, capacity, category, any image URL and any additional information.
Dashboard accounts
If you request access to the project dashboard we collect your email address, your name and your account status, including whether your access request has been approved. We use an authentication provider to manage sign-in credentials. We do not store your password ourselves.
Technical data
Our hosting and website platform providers process technical information that your browser sends automatically, which may include IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you visit. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure and understand how it is used. See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for and do not want special category data, such as information about health, political opinions or religious beliefs. Please do not include such information in a message to us.
4. How we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis under the GDPR |
|---|---|
| Responding to an enquiry you send us | Our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Assessing a project proposal you submit | Our legitimate interest in evaluating pipeline opportunities, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Creating and managing a dashboard account | Performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in securing access to non-public material |
| Sending fund updates where you have asked to receive them | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Keeping the website secure and available | Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and users |
| Meeting legal, regulatory and record keeping obligations | Compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights, and we have concluded that they are not. You can object to this processing at any time. See Your rights below.
The material on this website is directed at professional investors and is provided for pre-marketing purposes. We do not use your data for automated decision making that produces legal effects for you, and we do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
We operate from offices in Austria and Tanzania, and our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Some of these countries do not have data protection laws that the European Commission has found to provide an equivalent level of protection.
Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA we rely on an appropriate safeguard, normally the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or a European Commission adequacy decision where one applies. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguard we rely on using the contact details below.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, or as long as the law requires.
- General enquiries: normally up to 24 months from our last correspondence with you, unless the enquiry leads to an ongoing relationship.
- Project proposals: for the period we are assessing the proposal and normally up to 24 months afterwards, so that we can revisit pipeline opportunities.
- Dashboard accounts: for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle any queries.
- Records we must keep by law: for the period set by the applicable regulation, which for fund and anti-money-laundering records is typically several years after the relationship ends.
When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- ask us to delete data, in the circumstances the GDPR allows
- ask us to restrict how we use your data
- object to processing that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing
- ask us to transfer data you gave us to another organisation, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and carried out by automated means
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@africagreentransitionfund.com. We will respond within one month. That period can be extended by two further months for complex requests, and we will tell you if that happens. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the EEA country where you live, where you work, or where the issue arose.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. These include encrypted connections to the website, access controls on our database, and approval-gated access to the project dashboard.
No website or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority, and you where the law requires it.
10. Children
This website is intended for professional investors and business contacts. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Where a change is significant we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
12. Contact us
For any question about this policy or about how we handle personal data, contact us at info@africagreentransitionfund.com or write to us at either office address in section 1. You can also use our contact form.
